What can you do for me as a travel advisor?

My job as a travel advisor is to work with you to understand your travel needs and handle all the arrangements, from booking a hotel for a long weekend to planning a honeymoon. I take the time to learn your preferences and narrow down your destination and accommodation options to find the best fit for you. I make sure your trip is precisely tailored to your taste, vacation style and budget.

Working with me helps you level up your vacation experience. As your travel advisor I handle all the logistics — on-the-ground transfers, hotel and tour bookings, itinerary planning — so you can get the most out of your trip, without any of the stress.

What's the catch?

Like, the catch of the day? JK. Totally understand why you’d ask but there is none. 

Here’s a peek behind the scenes: hotels pay a much smaller commission to a human travel advisor than they do to an online travel agency like Expedia or Booking.com. Hotels and other travel providers love working with Travel Advisors because we put a lot of effort into recommending the right place for each traveler. That’s why they’d rather pay us the commission and add in perks such as spa credits for you, instead of having you booking online.

It’s a total win-win!

What if I enjoy planning my trips?

That's great! Planning travel (if you have a lot of time) can be fun. It’s what I love to do!

You can actually still benefit from using me as a Travel Advisor. Just tell me the hotels you’re interested in and I’ll book them for you so you get perks such as free breakfast, a room upgrade, early check-in or late check-out, at no extra cost to you.‍

Plus I can let you know if we have any intel on the property that may not be obvious online. It’s like having a best friend who works in travel, and can help you plan your dream trip.


What can you help me book?

Although I specialize in couples travel, you name it, I book it: resort vacations, safaris, city breaks, once-in-a-lifetime adventures, weekend escapes…I do it all

How much do you charge?

I don’t charge anything for hotel bookings—my compensation comes directly from the hotels or travel providers, so it doesn’t cost you anything extra! For more complex trips or full-service planning, I may charge a planning fee to cover the time and effort that goes into crafting your perfect trip. If that’s the case, it will always be transparently communicated beforehand!

Will I pay more if I book with you versus booking independently?

This is typically the most common misconception! Most of the time the price will be exactly the same as booking independently. If there’s ever a slight difference, it’s usually not much, and the added free perks totally make it worth it. If you prefer to skip the extras, I can always book it for you at that price too!

Tell me everything. Let me know if you love shopping, must have access to a kids’ club or have a soft spot for off-the-beaten-path travel. Serious allergies or dietary restrictions are also very helpful information to share. That way, I’ll only show you options that fit your wants and needs. I also love to hear about your favorite hotels and trips you’ve enjoyed in the past, because that clues me in to your travel style.

Can I still get free perks if I already booked my hotel?

Possibly! If you booked directly via the hotel’s website, I might be able to assist through a process called a "Takeover Booking." Simply email your hotel confirmation to paola.najjar@fora.travel, and I’ll reach out to the hotel to become the agent of record. This allows me to add complimentary VIP perks to your reservation—at no extra cost to you—with no changes to your existing booking.

Can I use my points to book? 

Using points for travel is a great way to save, especially on flights. However, when it comes to hotels, point bookings are considered third-party reservations, meaning you will miss out on all the VIP perks. To maximize your experience, consider using your points for flights and booking hotels through me to enjoy exclusive upgrades and benefits!
